We are a home care agency located in downtown Honolulu.
We are looking for a reliable, positive, compassionate professional to join our office staff.
Position Overview:
- This position will play an integral part in all aspects of the office.
- You will be involved in administrative support, clinical oversight, and scheduling.
- We are willing to train.
- All job candidates must be able to work at our office from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Mondays to Fridays.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls, assist clients, prospective applicants, and employees, or take messages as appropriate.
- Assist in the orientation of new caregivers.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and closing of client and employee files.
- Employee and client file audits.
- Follow-up with appropriate parties to obtain documentation to ensure compliance.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and faxes as needed.
- Incident tracking & report compilation.
- Care note tracking and follow-up with direct care staff, reporting issues to management.
- Assist in the creation and updating of policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure education and compliance with all HIPAA regulations and requirements.
- Ensure file maintenance and security standards are consistently practiced and enforced to protect employee and client records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of office work and/or customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Windows, and Mac computers.
- Prefer valid Hawaii Driver License, but not required
